The school campus has for many years been used as a centre for Education for Sustainable Development in Formal Education.  The Sustainability Centre is currently a venue for Zisizwe Wena, an NPO focusing on the development of Sustainable Projects and Entrepreneurship in Schools.

In the past, the campus was used for Permaculture Courses, training in Ethnic Botany for the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eco-schools conferences, KZN Scouts and more.  The Campus has been visited by Durban’s M.I.L.E., Imagine Durban, Goethe Schools, Westville Girls High, St Benedicts, Northdene Primary, Ethembeni School for the Deaf and more.

Most recently ECD schools including Grow Schools and The Do More Foundation schools have attended a three month Early Years Entrepreneurship Challenge through Teach A Man To Fish – and supported by The Saville Foundation.   This was led by Mrs Edmonds, a former Principal who attended an Advanced Training in Sweden; is an ESD Educator and Trainer with many years experience – in all phases in South Africa.
